Be wary of individuals and/or groups who have been using the name of the University of the Philippines on the internet to solicit credit card information from unsuspecting and well-meaning people through the guise of aiding UP students win scholarships.

The University condemns such devious practices that not only seek to undermine UP’s reputation but also take advantage of the public at large. We enjoin everyone to report such individuals or groups to the UP administration immediately.
